- I would say to just be yourself. Everyone's going through the same things. No one cares if your hair is messy or if your shirt doesn't look right today. Middle school is a messy place but you've got to make the most out of it. So don't worry how others think of you...

- Always be respectful.
- The wrong answer is better than no answer!!!
- Remember that every class is different...
- Lastly, an open letter to all of my student from McKenzie (class of 2010):
To be successful in Ms Kratofil's class you will need to have a very large INB and a glue stick. You will glue many, many things. Always come to class with a smile on your face and be ready to work. Do not be tardy for no apparent reason! That won't make her very happy. You may notice that when she is talking a little spittle may come out, but that's OK, lots of people do that on a daily basis. Also, she sweats a little, but who doesn't? It is perfectly normal, don't make a big fuss about it. There will be a stool rule, but you can ask her about that. :) Try your hardest and do well. She will love you!
